For my concert at The 100 Club October the 13th, I’m so pleased to say that I’m working in cooperation with a local charity.
THIS CHARITY Fitzrovia Youth in Action (FYA) helps and support disadvantaged youths in the area.
To be able to help yoing people develop their talents thought my music gives me great pleasure. If this event can assist the dedicated staff and volunteers of @FYA in someway then I and all my band will be very happy.
About Maceo Parker:
His collaborations over the years have included Ray Charles, Ani Difranco, James Taylor, De La Soul, Dave Matthews Band and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. His timeless sound has garnered him a fresh young fan base.
It is almost impossible to separate which came first, Maceo or the funk. The amazing P-funk Parker has been at it with his legendary sound for time that dates back to the 1960’s. That’s when Maceo and his drummer brother Melvin climbed on board the James Brown funky soul funk train. It wasn’t long before James coined the solo summoning signature, “Maceo, I want you to Blow!”. To most musicologists it’s the musically fertile group of men from this period of James Brown’s band who are recognized as the early pioneers of the modern funk and hip-hop whose sounds we still jump to in the present day.
With Bruno Speight, guitarist of S. O. S Band, Prince, Maceo Parker, amond others.

It won´t be long!!! Throughout this winter of 2018 Alejandra’s new album is being cooked!
In this album you will find the songs which identify the most to Alejandra and her new material that she was working on during 2017 with great enthusiasm.
After so many comings and goings with Rafa Kas (Ilegales / Jorge Martinez, La Unión, Toreros Muertos, Extremoduro, Tratamiento Anticaspa, Fe de Ratas, Panduro), and after so much time, almost 10 years of getting to know each other and sharing stages together, they finally decided to record the next album in Asturias.
They will record it in Tutú Studios with Antón Ceballos and Wilón DeCalle plus special guests!
I am very happy and proud to be able to share this moment with all of you.
My own album that finally after so many years of work and experiences, I feel for the first time that it will be “MY OFFICIAL ALBUM”.
Rafa Kas will be the producer and guitarist of this album.
We work together adding all the things we like and contributing with all the ideas that come to our minds, soaking in our influences and believing in the emotion, complicity and simplicity of our concerts.
I hope to get all that energy and the strength of the live Concert´s feeling that we receive when we are playing, the same kind of feedback that flows in those special moments.
My intention is to do something simple but strong, authentic and honest, to go forward without any doubt or barreers with a lot of positivity, fulfilling my desire to convey and share in each song my deep message and all my feelings.
Thank you for following us on this path …
We will keep you updated!
Thanks a lot to everyone, and you have to know that without you this wouldn´t be possible.
Thank you for all the support of the people who are pushing every day and sending good energies for everything that goes well.
Follow the whole process through the networks! Facebook and Instagram!!!
After five years touring all over Europe, she participated in many festivals, sharing stages with great musicians and artists from all over the world. She was the support band of Alice Cooper, Michael Schenker (Scorpions, UFO) with her Hard Rock Band called Fyre!, also of Gloria Gaynor in Mallorca and Anastacia during her Resurrection Tour. They shared stage singing together a duet of the song “Everyhing Burns” (Ben Moody) in Frankfurt, Germany.
Now, Alejandra is organizing her Tour in Argentina that will be during September- October 2017.
There she will be playing with the musicians of Juanse, an Argentinean band, and they are Sebastian Reinholz on drums, Yamil Salvador on Keyboards, Pablo Poncharello on Bass Guitar & Nelson Pombal on Guitar, who was the producer of the last record for Charly Garcia and now he is also producing the last work of Palito Ortega.
Congratulations to Salvador Sobral for being the Winner of Eurovision 2017.
I had the pleasure to share stage with him in Mallorca several times, so, we really hope a lot of success!!! Here, some info: Salvador Sobral, the winner was Portugal with the song “Amar Pelos Dois” (Luisa Sobral) (Loving For The Both of Us), performed by Salvador Sobral. This was Portugal’s first win – and first top five placing – in 53 years of participation, the longest winless run by a country in Eurovision history. It was also the first winning song entirely performed in a country’s native language since Serbia’s “Molitva” in 2007, and the first winner written in triple meter since Ireland’s “The Voice” in 1996. The top three countries – Portugal, Bulgaria and Moldova – all achieved the highest position ever in their Eurovision history. Portugal was drawn to compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 9 May 2017. “Amar Pelos Dois” ended up winning the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest with 758 points, giving the country its first win since it began participating in 1964. The Portuguese broadcaster for the 2017 Contest, who broadcasts the event in Portugal and organises the selection process for its entry, will be Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP). Portugal has most commonly selected their entry through the national final Festival da Canção except between 2003 and 2005 where the broadcaster used internal selections and the talent competition Operação triunfo to select their entry. The broadcaster organized the 2017 edition of Festival da Canção in order to select the Portuguese entry for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.
We are very happy to announce that during our tour in Oslo, we could film a new and crazy little Video Clip of the our version of “Norwegian Wood” of the Beatles, walking the streets of Norway. We had a lot of fun during the filming and making off because it was our first time there and also it was really one of our dreams and one of our favorites songs to perform. So, here is the link to You Tube for watching the Video Clip and the rehearsal!!! Enjoy it and have fun with us! And also you can download our version : http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/alejandraburgos3 (Acoustic Sessions)
The 25th anniversary of Freddie Mercury’s death coincides with a resurgence of interest in Queen and a rediscovery of the group by younger generations
“Rock Fm” has organized in Madrid a tribute for Freddy Mercury and Queen in La Riviera on 25th November, 2016. There were a lot of artists from all over the world who had made the concert so amazing, giving crazyness to the people, and they se dtil aski for more … Some of the artists who have been there were Rafa Blas, Molly, Los Zigarros, Alba Fernandez, Belén Arjona, Barbara Black, Aurora Garcia, Pau Monteagudo, Mart, Daniel Gómez, among others.
Alejandra had the pleasure to sing “Crazy little thing called love” and “Hammer to fall”, which you can already see and listen on You Tube. All the musicians sang together At the end “We are the Champions”, such a very emotional ending that has left the doors open with a lot of desire for a next great spectacle.
An influence far beyond music. Of course, all the great currents of the 90s, grunge, punk rock or brit pop, completely turned their back on Queen. Until well into the 2000s no groups emerged that clearly drank from their influence as Muse, Radiohead, Franz Ferdinand, Keane … Even Lady Gaga got that name for ‘Radio Ga Ga’! And now finally comes the recognition of one of the greatest groups of all time whose influence goes far beyond the musical.
And the best: it’s discovery by new generations, who do not give credit to Queen to have things like ‘Keep Yourself Alive’, ‘Fat Bottomed Girls’, ‘Tie Your Mother Down’ or ‘Stone Cold Crazy’. Queen T-shirts are even seen at metal festivals like the Resurrection Fest, whose headliner was Iron Maiden this year. Hence there are emerging lots of tribute bands, some that play to disguise themselves and others that play music, some of them quite well (write down Q71 among them).
